Leslie Duong – Patient Care Manager
My name is Leslie. Going from the engineering field to the dental profession was a drastic change in my career. I have been working at Sun Orthodontics as patient care manager for the past decade. Our facility is located in the heart of Rancho Bernardo with a wonderful doctor and staff. I feel fortunate to be a part of the team. It's very fascinating to see how orthodontics with the innovation of technology can transform people's lives physically and psychologically. It's magic! After each busy working day, I usually reserve some quiet time for myself either reading, listening to music, or thinking. The sounds of the ocean, the running water in the river, and the beautiful scenery inspires my deepest thought and transforms me into a poet. Working with flower arrangements or creating artworks are my favorite hobbies.
Raquel Dressin – Office Manager
Hello, my name is Raquel Dressin and I work with Dr. Duong as the office manager at Sun Orthodontics. I am a San Diego native and reside in Escondido with my husband Michael. We have two grown children and five wonderful grandchildren.
Being credentialed as a Dental Assistant since 1980, my experience has entailed orthodontics, pedodontics and general dentistry. Each day I look forward to meeting all of Dr. Duong's wonderful patients and strive to make every one of their visits relaxing and enjoyable.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, caring for our cats and gardening. I look forward to meeting you and being of service to you and our community.
Ginny Brown – Office Administrator
Hello, my name is Ginny Brown and I have been the office administrator at Sun Orthodontics since February 2014. My hometown is Syracuse, New York which is ranked #1 in the cities with the highest average snowfall in the United States. Needless to say, when my husband Don and myself moved to sunny San Diego six years ago, we never looked back! I must admit however, we love the Padres, but are still avid Yankee fans at heart! As a graduate of LeMoyne College in Syracuse, I earned a B.A. in Spanish and I am also fluent in Italian.
Bringing 30 years of experience in general dentistry with me, orthodontics has been very interesting to learn about with Dr. Duong as my teacher! When I am not at the office, you can find me with my two beautiful granddaughters or pursuing my hobby of stamping/card making. I am also on the Board of Soroptimist International of Rancho Bernardo.
Kristen Heightman - Marketing Coordinator
Kristen brings a wealth of experience in graphic design, photography and social media marketing, including work for boutique marketing firms, locally-owned businesses and nationwide clients like Johnson & Johnson, Mentor and Biosense Webster. Kristen also has experience working front office in the medical field. Kristen ensures that our office looks its best and gets maximum exposure.
Anna Groves, RDA - Patient Coordinator
I have worked in the Orthodontic field for over 25 years as a Registered Dental Assistant. I enjoy interacting with our patients and being part of a warm and professional team dedicated to creating beautiful smiles. I enjoy the family-like bond our team shares when caring for our patients. I love my job! It's fun and rewarding.
I'm a California native. I've been married to my best friend for 32 years. We are blessed with two sons and a daughter now that our son is married. In my spare time I enjoy walks at the beach, concerts, family/ friend time and spoiling our dogs.
